29 royal exchange square in Glasgow is a place I've photographed at several times now and I'm always happy to do so. Lots of unique looking rooms and right smack in the middle of the city centre makes for a great venue and that's where I was for Susan & Gary's wedding.
Prep was just around the corner in some serviced suites which had plenty of space and light, both things which make my job much easier and then it was a short walk through the town centre to 29.
After a great ceremony we completed the group shots behind the gallery of modern art and then headed over to Glasgow green for the first part of the couple shoot. Bright sun made this a touch trickier than usual but we soon found some shade and then made our way back to the city centre for some more photos in and around the centre and alleyways near Buchanan street.
Speeches were funny and the meal was awesome and then it was off for another quick shoot before the cake cutting and the evening reception. I always try to do two couple shoots at different times of the day due to light and the time after the meal is always preferred as not too much happens. Spotting a couple kissing in the background, I mirrored their pose with Susan & Gary and I'm really pleased with the results.
The dancefloor was mental and absolutely packed! It's been a long time since I've seen a conga line but there we go and really fun to witness.
Thanks again for having me guys.
Here's a few of my favourite photos from the day.
