After 6 long years....

Jen & Glynn had their wedding at the rather awesome St Lukes in Glasgow. Another new venue for me and somewhere I'd be more than happy to return to.

Bridal prep was in a rather nice Airbnb in the city centre, the views were impressive and it had a tonne of natural light which I'm always happy to have. I really enjoy this part of the day, some brides are nervous, some excited but emotions always run high and it's a great part of the day to capture alongside all the details.

Transport was a vintage camper van to the venue which is nestled in the East end of the city across from one of Glasgows most iconic places, the Barras.

The venue is used not only for weddings but also for gigs and the organ plus room itself where the ceremony takes place is a sight to behold. The service itself was a humanist one, definitely my favourite type and went without any issues.

After the ceremony we went immediately outdoors for the confetti shot and the group photos in some really beautiful light which unfortunately decided to disappear straight after they were completed. We didn't let this affect the couple shoot and a last minute decision to head down to the Tennents brewery was a good choice. We also visited Glasgow on the green and the Barras where we ran into a council worker who was happy to turn on the famous lights later on in the evening for us.

Speeches were funny and heartfelt and the burger for dinner really hit the spot!

After the meal we returned to the Barras and the shot I've wanted for 6 years I finally managed to get. Square on with the Barrowland sign all lit up in the background, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out and it's definitely up there with my favourite wedding photos I've taken.

Once finished we headed back for cake cutting and dancing where a few die hard guests couldn't

be dragged away from the dance floor and really made the atmosphere a fun and energetic one.

Thanks for having us along guys and here's some of my favourite photos from the day...
